For wars not on that list: the casualty totals in each war's Wikipedia article infobox. "At least" where the source gives a minimum ("+"). • Areas held by each side: simplified from the Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons territorial-control maps of each war. Treat them as rough snapshots. • Borders: historical-basemaps, CShapes 2.0, Natural Earth (admin-0 and admin-1). • Flags: Wikimedia Commons. Real flags are shown as history, not as endorsement. • Mostly-international wars (Korea, Vietnam) are left out.
