Serious Sam Fusion: TSE but in Egypt - 05 The Pit (Serious 100%)

The Pit, more like The Poo! I've always hated this map, and I find it fitting that the mod author decided to use TFE sewer music for this utter abomination unto humanity. Jokes aside, it's not all bad. My main dislikes for this map come from the 2 forgettable destructive secrets and horribly designed gimmick fights that give the final fight from level 3 a run for its money. The smaller skirmishes that occur between the big gimmick fights are genuinely fun, and I do enjoy a few of the gimmick fights/rooms, not to mention the visuals across the board are really good. I would also be lying if I didn't mention the outdoor arena before the boss, which is for sure one of the best penultimate fights in any of Croteam's maps. For me, The Pit has always been a really cool map with some really crappy areas that sadly drag down the experience as a whole, but if you can overlook the negative aspects there's some fun to be had. I wasn't really expecting to play through TSE on this channel again, but I'm thankful for this mod's existence so that I could have an excuse to play through it again. Here's hoping the rest of the maps will be worked on and released at some point! Thanks again for watching and as always, stay Serious!
