DIY Stairs Transformation : 80s Carpet → Modern Oak Stairs - Before and After Stairs Renovation

This one was a beast. (Apologies if you have already seen this video. The original that's still up kinda failed, so I'm attempting a shorter version in hopes that it does better.) Detailed version:    • We Tore Out Our 80s Stairs and Built THIS.   What started as a simple “let’s update the stairs” turned into a full-on custom build — from milling the lumber to building every tread, riser, post, and railing by hand. No kits, no shortcuts... just a lot of sawdust, long nights, and way too much stair math. This is hands down the most challenging build I’ve ever tackled — but the result? Totally worth it. Whether you're into woodworking, renos, or just like watching someone lose their mind over spindles, I hope you enjoy following along with this one. 👇 Drop a comment and let me know what you think — or if you’d ever build stairs from scratch. And as always, like, subscribe, or just send moral support. I’ll take it.
