NEW PERSONAL BEST! - POKEMON FIRERED ROUND 2 SPEEDRUN IN 3:26:41!

FINALLY a NEW PERSONAL BEST! This run was INSANE with incredible early game catches as well as good fights with clutch moments. The middle game was very exciting as this run managed to do something that is very rare: Pewter skip AND Power plant skip. It all came down to the Safari Zone, Pokemon Mansion and the Sevii Islands for catching the required 60 Pokemon of this category. From there, it was only a matter of beating the Elite Four for the first time, complete the Sevii Islands quests, catch Mewtwo and defeat the Elite Four for the second time. 0:00 Run Starts! 0:55 Squirtle Manip 3:10 Brock Segment 15:54 Misty Segment 30:49 Bill Segment 40:48 Bike Segment 48:37 Rock Tunnel Segment 58:24 Giovanni 1 Segment 1:07:37 Snorlax Segment 1:22:36 Koga Segment (Safari Zone!) 1:32:39 Blaine Segment (Power Plant + Pokemon Mansion!) 1:40:41 Sevii Islands Segment 1:58:35 Sabrina Segment 2:11:58 Erika Segment 2:14:54 Giovanni 3 Segment 2:23:59 Victory Road Segment 2:36:58 Lorelei Fight 2:39:52 Bruno Fight 2:42:01 Agatha Fight 2:43:59 Lance Fight 2:46:39 Champion Fight 2:49:50 Icefall Cave Segment 2:59:15 Rocket Warehouse Segment 3:08:36 Mewtwo Cave Segment 3:13:34 Lorelei Round 2 Fight 3:15:26 Bruno Round 2 Fight 3:17:20 Agatha Round 2 Fight 3:19:22 Lance Round 2 Fight 3:21:55 Champion Round 2 Fight 3:25:40 NEW PERSONAL BEST Pokemon Fire Red Elite 4 Round 2 means the run ends after beating Elite 4 for the second time! The Elite 4 have better and higher levelled Pokemon this time around. In order to unlock the second round, you have to first unlock the National Dex, which requires you to capture 60 unique Pokemon. During a normal Pokemon Speedrun the catching of Pokemon is limited to Pokemon that will be used for HM's like Fly and Surf. In Pokemon FireRed E4R2 the catching of 60 unique Pokemon adds a whole new element to the run and requires on the fly adaptation and a lot of game knowledge.
