Star Wars Writer Charles Soule on Kylo Ren's Future, 8 Billion Genies Movie Status, Dream Marvel Run

During a recent conversation with Collider's Maggie Lovitt at FanX Salt Lake Comic & Pop Culture Convention, comic book writer Charles Soule sat down to discuss his work across Star Wars, Marvel, and original comic projects. Soule teased what lies ahead for Kylo Ren in the comics, the creative process behind exploring unanswered movie questions with Lucasfilm, and the contrast between writing licensed franchises versus creator-owned titles like 8 Billion Genies and Undiscovered Country. He also reflected on the status of the 8 Billion Genies feature film adaptation at Amazon Studios with Point Grey Pictures, the surreal feeling of seeing his original characters like Muse brought to life in Daredevil: Born Again, his experience providing legal and creative consulting on Marvel and Star Wars projects, and his dream Marvel character to write for in the future. #starwars #charlessoule #kyloren #8billiongenies #marvel For interviews, movie reviews, and more visit https://collider.com FOLLOW US ON SOCIAL   / collider     / collider     / collider
