I’m Leaving Germany to Start a Homestead in Bulgaria

I left Germany to start a new life in Bulgaria — and this is the beginning of our homestead journey. In this first episode, I talk about why we made this change, what the plan is, and what we hope to build over time. I also show the area on the map and explain the first rough ideas for the land, including a future home office, workshop space, possible garden areas, and the long-term goal of creating a more self-sufficient life. This is not a finished homestead. It is the starting point. The land size is not officially confirmed yet, but based on rough calculations it may be around 2–3 acres. We will know more in the future. This channel will follow the real process step by step: moving to rural Bulgaria, setting up the land, learning DIY skills, building useful spaces, growing food, preparing for animals in the future, and dealing with the problems that come with starting from the beginning.
