RUBICON Failed but GYPSY Passed | Extreme offroad in Mullanpur Chandigarh | Aaruksh

This one was on another level. 🔥 We headed out to Mullanpur, near Chandigarh with the Desi Offroaders Club, and honestly, this turned out to be one of the most extreme off-road sessions I’ve ever been a part of. The lineup itself was insane. From some extremely built Maruti Gypsy Kings, machines that are purpose-built to take on absolutely anything to premium off-roaders like the Jeep Rubicon, along with Toyota Hilux, Mahindra Thar CRDe, and several other capable 4x4s. Every vehicle had its own setup, its own strengths, and its own story. As we entered the trails, it quickly became clear that this wasn’t going to be a regular off-road drive. We were exploring completely new routes, cutting through raw terrain, and in many places, actually creating tracks where none existed before. The obstacles were no joke, extreme climbs, deep ruts, uneven surfaces, and sections where one wrong move could easily damage your vehicle. At one point, the terrain got so aggressive that we had to park the Hilux and other SUVs before entering the extreme section, knowing that pushing them further could result in serious damage. That’s when the real hardcore machines took over. The Gypsys absolutely dominated. Their lightweight build, modifications, and raw mechanical control made them unstoppable on these trails. Watching them crawl, climb, and power through obstacles was something else. And then there was the Jeep Rubicon: standing out as the only premium SUV that actually went all the way into the extreme section. It was not just about the machine, but also the confidence and courage of the driver, pushing it through terrain where most would hesitate. The Rubicon truly showcased what it’s capable of when driven right. This off-road session wasn’t just about vehicles, it was about pushing limits, exploring the unknown, and trusting your machine. Every obstacle brought a new challenge, and every successful climb felt like an achievement. Personally, this has to be one of the most extreme and memorable off-road experiences I’ve had so far.
