DEVI

A society that worships women as goddess but what happens when those same women are denied dignity, freedom, and respect? When Tarun, a creator visits a village to document its culture, he encounters a disturbing reality hidden beneath its traditions. What begins as a search for authentic village stories soon leads him to Amma, an elderly woman with a haunting tale of a forgotten past. How did a woman go from being an outsider to a goddess? Why was her identity erased while her image was worshipped? And if a society can bow before a woman’s idol, why can’t it stand up for the woman herself !!
