Narrow Gauge Steam in Bosnia October 2019

The line from Banovici coal mine to the handling facility at Oskova is a 760mm narrow gauge. The line is approximately 12 kilometres long and is primarily operated by a fleet of diesel locomotives. A small fleet of steam locomotives exist to cover for diesel failures and shunting duties. A class 25 a class 55 and two 0-8-2 Class 83s built in 1948 in the former Checkoslavakia. Here we see 83159 working a coal train from Oskova to Banovici in Bosnia.
