🎃 *HALLOWEEN HAVOC 1989. Is it good?* Well… *Yes. Ish. At times.* Professor Degree and Blade Daily are joined by special guest *Books and Bodyslams* to revisit WCW’s first-ever Halloween Havoc — and Books has NEVER seen this show. In fact, she’s never watched WCW from this era at all. So this should go well. On the card: 👻 *Ric Flair & Sting vs. The Great Muta & Terry Funk* inside the Thunderdome — with **Bruno Sammartino as the special guest referee**, because 1989 was a magical time. 💥 *The Steiner Brothers vs. Doom* — the first meeting between two teams destined to become a major part of WCW’s tag-team history. 🏙️ *The Skyscrapers vs. The Road Warriors* — just several enormous men attempting to destroy one another. 😬 *Tommy Rich* makes a series of decisions regarding ring attire that we are unfortunately going to have to discuss. 🇨🇺 *The Cuban Assassin is on pay-per-view.* Sure. 🏄 *The Dynamic Dudes are here.* We mean that in the least enthusiastic way possible. 🌹 And somehow, *The Midnight Express are BABYFACES…and kind of boring?!* Halloween Havoc ’89 is an absolutely fascinating snapshot of WCW at the end of the 1980s: incredible talent, strange booking, legendary names, questionable choices and moments where you can practically see the next decade of wrestling beginning to take shape. So how much of it actually holds up? And more importantly… *What will Books think of THIS being her introduction to 1989 WCW?* Join *Professor Degree, Blade Daily & Books and Bodyslams* LIVE as we watch, remember, laugh, question several creative decisions and revisit **WCW Halloween Havoc 1989**. 🥊 *PRO WRESTLING FOREVER* Wrestling history. Nostalgia. Weirdness. And three people spending entirely too much time discussing Tommy Rich’s pants. Subscribe and join us live!
