Abstract: Massive stars end their lives in core-collapse supernova explosions, emitting approximately 10^57 neutrinos of all flavors. These neutrinos, which carry away nearly the entire gravitational binding energy of the star, undergo a variety of intriguing physical processes -- collective flavor oscillations being among the most striking. Owing to the extreme conditions within the star and the extraordinarily long distances the neutrinos traverse, they offer a rich laboratory for testing fundamental physics. Such studies promise insights into a wide range of questions in astroparticle physics and cosmology. In this talk, we review the physics of supernova neutrinos, with particular emphasis on recent developments.
