Scenic Motorcycle Ride - (#motovlog - 12)

Hey everyone, I rode to Long Beach Island (LBI) in New Jersey to see the Barnegat Lighthouse with my motorcycle group. On our way there, we took scenic back roads and rode through the Pine Barrens. The Pine Barrens is 1.1 million acres forest that that covers both southern and central New Jersey. Long Beach Island is an 18 mile long island that is 2 miles away from mainland New Jersey. Route 72 is the only highway that connects mainland New Jersey to Long Beach Island via the Manahawkin Bay Bridge. Long Beach Island is a popular family-friendly summer resort and upscale beach destination. Year around the population is around 10,000 but swells to 200,000 during the peak summer months. We visited Barnegat Light house, which is nicknamed "Old Barney", it is the key attraction for most visitors to Long Beach Island. Visitors can climb to the top for a panoramic view of Long Beach Island, Barengat Bay, and the Atlantic Ocean. I hope you enjoy the ride through the Pine Barrens and Long Beach island!
