Is Porsche's Cheapest GT Car Just a Parts-Bin Special?

The 2016 Porsche Cayman GT4 gets some complaints. Its gearing is too tall. It should have gotten the GT3 motor. It's not a "true" GT car. But this isn't some parts-bin wannabe.
