Croatia by Bike: Rijeka, Trsat Castle & Učka Mountain

A cycling adventure through the Kvarner region of Croatia. Starting from Lovran, I ride to Rijeka and climb up to Trsat Castle, where I explore the historic fortress and enjoy the views over Rijeka and Kvarner Bay. After returning to Lovran, the next morning I set off again — this time climbing Učka Mountain all the way to the top. The road, the views and the descent make this one of my favorite rides from the trip. My camera eventually runs out of battery during the descent, but that’s part of the journey.
