Kedartal Trekkers Missing | উত্তরাখণ্ডের উত্তরকাশীর কেদারতাল ট্রেকে তুষারপাতের জেরে নিখোঁজ বাংলার পাঁচ-সহ মোট আটজন। গত ২৯ অক্টোবর প্রবল তুষারপাতের কারণে মাঝপথেই বন্ধ করে দেওয়া হয় ট্রেকিং। চার দিন পেরিয়ে গেলেও এখনও কোনও খোঁজ মেলেনি আটজনের। নিখোঁজদের মধ্যে রয়েছেন একজন গাইডও। গতকাল তুষারপাতের কারণে ব্যাহত হয় উদ্ধার অভিযান। এদিকে, নিখোঁজ পাঁচ ট্রেকারকে নিয়ে এক্স পোস্টে গভীর উদ্বেগ প্রকাশ করেছেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী শুভেন্দু অধিকারী। নিখোঁজদের নাম উল্লেখ করে তিনি জানান, বাঁকুড়ার রিন্টু মণ্ডল, উদয় ঘোষ, রতন ঘোষ, তপস বাউড়ি এবং মনোজ খোবাসের সন্ধানে উত্তরাখণ্ড সরকারের পাশাপাশি SDRF-এর সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ রাখছে রাজ্য সরকার। দিল্লিতে রাজ্যের রেসিডেন্ট কমিশনারের দফতরের সঙ্গেও যোগাযোগ করা হয়েছে। পাশাপাশি, নিখোঁজদের পরিবারের সঙ্গে নিয়মিত যোগাযোগ রাখছে প্রশাসন এবং তাঁদের সবরকম সাহায্যের আশ্বাস দেওয়া হয়েছে। Eight trekkers, including five from Bengal, have gone missing following heavy snowfall during the Kedartal trek in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. Trekking was halted midway on October 29 due to severe snowfall. Even after four days, there is still no trace of the missing trekkers, including a guide. Rescue operations were disrupted yesterday due to adverse weather conditions. Meanwhile, West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari expressed deep concern over the missing trekkers in a post on X. Naming the five missing trekkers from Bankura — Rintu Mandal, Uday Ghosh, Ratan Ghosh, Tapas Bauri and Manoj Khobas — he said the state government is coordinating with the Uttarakhand government and the SDRF to trace them. The Resident Commissioner's office in Delhi has also been contacted.
