Mie Goreng | മീ ഗോറെങ് Smoky, savory and packed with bold flavors-this homemade Mie Goreng is a delicious Indonesian-style stir fried noodle dish tossed with garlic, chilli and saucesand perfectly cooked noodles! Quick, spicy and slightly sweet and incredibly satisfying, it makes perfect meal for lunch or dinner! Enjoy!! Happy Cooking!! Serves 2-3 Ingredients: Noodles 150g Light soy sauce 1 tbsp Kecap manis 1 1/2 tbsp Tomato ketchup 2 tsp Red chilli sauce 2 tsp Shrimp paste 1/2 tsp Sesame oil 2 tsp Oil 1-11/2 tbsp Eggs 2 Red chilli 1/2 Garlic 7 Shallots 4 Onion 1/2 sliced Prawns/shrimps 1/4 c Capsicum 1/4 c Cabbage 1 c Spring onion few Method: Cook noodles in boiling water Make sauce by adding kecap manis, tomato ketchup, red chilli sauce, shrimp paste and sesame oil. Heat 1 tsp oil and make an omelette using 2 eggs. keep aside Heat 1 tbsp oil. crush 1/2 red chilli. 7 cloves of garlic, 4 shallots. Add this to oil and saute well. Add onionand saute for a min. Add 1/2 c chicken and saute till chicken is cooked. Add few slicewd chilles. Add 1/4 c shrimps or prawns, add capsicum, cabbage and cooked noodles. Add the sauce and stir fry over high heat.
