J. S. Bach - Fugue on a Theme by Albinoni (2nd version), BWV 951a, Harpsichord & Sheet Music

I finally decided to record the second version of this fugue. It's very interesting to see a different approach to the same subject by the master. It was composed between 1714 and 1717. The subject is taken from Tomaso Albinoni's Trio Sonata Op. 1 in B minor second movement. Albinoni is one of my favorite composers, and it makes me sad that he didn't compose for keyboard, so I'll jump at the chance to play anything related to him.
