Starting with Alan Wake and Barry Wheeler waking up from a night of partying. Alan has an out of body dream, The Dark Presence had taken over Alan making him finish his manuscript "Departure." As the manuscript unfolds Alan was able to write in his own escape. He crashed the car running from the cabin. Alice has been taken by the darkness, drowned in the Lake. Alan Wake (2010) will always be one of my favorites. The story and environment add to the psychological horror, the jump scares, the flares and characters.
