10 Texas Cities Where NOBODY Is Buying Homes Anymore (2026)

Everyone keeps saying Texas is the place to buy a home, but in some Texas cities right now, nobody is buying. Houses are sitting, sellers are cutting prices, and the buyers have quietly stopped showing up. I made this one because I kept seeing Texas housing market headlines that didn’t match what’s actually happening on the ground. So I went city by city, looking at where the Texas housing market in 2026 has really cooled off, and I put together the 10 Texas cities where homes just aren’t moving the way they used to. Here’s why I think it’s worth your time: If you’re thinking about buying in Texas, you’ll see which cities to be extra careful with before you sign anything. If you already own a home there, you’ll get a clear picture of what’s happening around you. If you’re just curious where the market is slowing down, this is the countdown for you. If this was useful, hit like and subscribe. It really helps the channel, and I’ve got more housing market videos coming. And tell me in the comments: which Texas city do you think is next on this list? I read every comment. #TexasHousingMarket #TexasRealEstate #HousingMarket2026 #TexasCities
