Ellis returned in 1989 to earn that elusive 3-Point title in his fourth appearance of the 80's. Ellis has the unique distinction of being the only player in NBA history to have finished in first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth over the course of his seven contest appearances. His third place finish in 1998 marked the only time he ever repeated a placing.
