Nîmes — a beautiful city in southern France where more than 2,000 years of history come alive. 🇫🇷 Join us on our journey from London to Nîmes as we explore this fascinating city and discover some of its remarkable Roman heritage. Our journey takes us from London to Gatwick, then to Montpellier and finally to Nîmes. We also see preparations taking place for an upcoming public event, showing how this ancient arena continues to be part of modern Nîmes. Our walk through the historic centre then takes us to Maison Carrée, another remarkable Roman monument, followed by the Tour Magne. After climbing the tower, we are rewarded with beautiful panoramic views across Nîmes. Before heading home, we make one final stop at the spectacular Pont du Gard, where we spend a couple of minutes enjoying this extraordinary Roman aqueduct.
