Can I actually turn reselling into a full-time, sustainable income? Last month I challenged myself to make $3,000 reselling on eBay, Poshmark, and Depop — and I hit my goal. 🎉 But now I want to know if I can do that consistently. For a little backstory: I’ve spent the last 11 years working as a freelance commercial photographer in Los Angeles. A couple years ago, my life changed pretty dramatically. I went through a terrible breakup, moved out of my dream artist loft, sold most of what I owned, put the rest in storage, traveled solo through Asia, and eventually started living nomadically and house sitting. I haven’t had a place of my own in over two years. Now I’m ready to start putting down roots again — but I want to see if I can do it without giving up the independence that has shaped the majority of my adult life. So I’m growing my reselling business with two big goals: build a reliable income working for myself and save enough money to get my own place again.
