The history of this temple also dates back to the Mahabharata period, and the temple is also described in the Shiva Purana. This temple is situated 10 KM from Rajdhanwar and about 55 KM from Giridih by the name of Baba Jharkhand Dham. In this temple there are two Shivling together here, which is unique in itself. It is said that this type of Shivling is nowhere else. The river Irga flows to the south west of Jharkhand Dham temple. Which increases the beauty of this temple even more. On the occasion of Mahashivratri and whole Sawan, there are lakhs of Shiva devotees visit here. And every month on the full moon day (Purnima), there is a huge crowd of devotees, devotees get the blessings of Lord Bholenath by offering water (Holy water)here. Thousands of marriages take place in this temple every year. Another feature of Jharkhand Dham temple is that this temple is roofless and there is no roof on top of this temple. Despite many attempts to build a roof on behalf of the Jharkhand Dham temple complex, the roof could not be built. The pundits and the temple premises here say that whenever these people wanted to build the roof of the temple, Baba Bholenath himself came in a dream and refused. They say that the temple is fine as it is. The Panda here says that once about 50 years ago, the roof of this temple was also constructed, but without wind, the roof flew away and went somewhere. 1. भगवान शिव का यह एक महत्वपूर्ण तीर्थ केंद्र है, जो झारखंड राज्य के गिरिडीह जिले मे स्थित है। यह मंदिर का इतिहास महाभारत काल से भी मिलता है, तथा मंदिर का उल्लेख शिव पुराण मे भी मिलता है। 2. यह मंदिर राजधनवार से 10 KM और गिरिडीह से लगभग 55 KM दूर बाबा झारखंड धाम के नाम से स्थित है। 3. यहाँ एक साथ दो शिवलिंग है, जो अपने आप मे अनोखा है । कहा जाता है की इस प्रकार का शिवलिंग और कंही नही है। 4. झारखंड धाम मंदिर के दक्षिण पश्चिम में इरगा नदी बहती है। जो इस मंदिर का शोभा और अधिक बढ़ जाता हैं। 5. महाशिवरात्रि और पूरा सावन के अवसर पर यहां शिव भक्तों की भीड़ लाखों संख्या मे होता है, और हर महीने पूर्णिमा के दिन यहाँ भक्तो का भीड़ बहुत ही ज्यादा होता है। श्रद्धालू यंहा जल चढ़ा कर भगवन भोलेनाथ का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करते है। हर साल हजारो शादियाँ इस मंदिर मे होता है। 6. झारखंड धाम मंदिर की एक और विशेषता है की यह मंदिर छत रहित है इस मंदिर के उपर मे छत नही है। झारखंड धाम मंदिर परिसर की ओर से बहुत बार छत बनाने का प्रयतन करने के बाबजूद छत का निर्माण नही हो सका। यँहा के पंडित व मंदिर परिसर का कहना है कि जब भी ये लोग मंदिर का छत निर्माण करना चाहा, बाबा भोलेनाथ खुद सपने मे आकर मना कर दिये। उनका कहना है मंदिर जैसे है वैसे ही ठीक है। यंहा के पण्डा का कहना है कि लगभग 50 वर्ष पूर्व एक बार इस मंदिर का छत का निर्माण भी किया गया था परंतु बिना हवा के ही वाह छत उड़कर कंही चला गया।
