Lance Armstrong REVEALS the Teammate He HATED Most

Lance Armstrong REVEALS the Teammate He HATED Most Lance Armstrong and Alberto Contador rode for the same team at the 2009 Tour de France, and this is the story of how two Astana teammates ended up hating each other. When a reporter asked Armstrong about Contador’s attack in the mountains, his only answer was that he would bite his tongue. Days later, Contador said his relationship with Lance was zero. Armstrong came out of retirement in 2009 chasing an eighth Tour title and joined Astana, run by his old director Johan Bruyneel. But Astana already had a leader: Contador, the 2007 Tour winner, who had just won the Giro and the Vuelta. From a public jab at Paris-Nice to a broken collarbone, rival camps inside the team, time trial wheels Contador had to buy himself and a tweet the night before the Grand Depart, the tension grew long before the race reached the mountains. Years later, Contador finally told his side of the story.
