🌧️ Day 3 | Maharashtra Monsoon Ride | Mahabaleshwar → Pratapgad Fort → Tapola 🏍️🌿 Day 3 of our Maharashtra Monsoon Ride took us from the beautiful hills of Mahabaleshwar to the historic Pratapgad Fort, followed by an incredible ride through the scenic monsoon roads towards Tapola — the “Mini Kashmir of Maharashtra.” 🌧️🏍️ We started our day from Mahabaleshwar, surrounded by misty mountains, lush green forests, and beautiful monsoon weather. 🌿🌫️ Our first destination was the legendary Pratapgad Fort, one of Maharashtra's most iconic forts. 🏰 We explored the fort, walked through its historic paths, and took in the incredible views of the surrounding Sahyadri mountains. The combination of history, clouds, greenery, and monsoon weather made the experience even more special. ❤️ After exploring Pratapgad, we continued our Himalayan ride towards Tapola, popularly known as the “Mini Kashmir of Maharashtra.” 🏍️🌿 The ride to Tapola was an adventure in itself! The roads took us through dense forests, misty mountains, winding turns, and some incredibly scenic monsoon landscapes. 🌧️🌳 And then we reached the Koyna Backwaters. 🌊😍 The vast water, green mountains, cloudy skies, and peaceful surroundings made this one of the most beautiful parts of our journey. It was the perfect reminder of why monsoon rides in Maharashtra are so special. After exploring the backwaters and enjoying the beautiful surroundings, we headed to our stay for the night — Shivsagar Agro Tourism, Tapola. 🏡🌿 🏨 Our Stay – Shivsagar Agro Tourism, Tapola Located amidst the beautiful greenery of Tapola, this was the perfect place to relax after a long day of riding. Surrounded by nature and close to the Koyna backwaters, the peaceful atmosphere made it a great stop for our Maharashtra monsoon adventure.
