"Music Among Friends" - Faculty and Guest Artist Chamber Recital

Faculty & Guest Artists Recital: Music Among Friends Texas Wesleyan University Department of Music Join us for an evening of chamber music featuring flutist Yik-man Lydia Yan, cellist Dr. Tsun-yuet Emmanuel Kwok, and pianist Dr. Keji Sanchez in a program celebrating the intimacy, expression, and musical conversation of chamber music. This recital, Music Among Friends, features masterworks by three of the most influential composers of the Classical and Romantic eras: 🎼 Ludwig van Beethoven Sonata for Cello and Piano No. 2 in G Minor, Op. 5, No. 2 I. Rasch und mit Feuer Featured Artists Yik-man Lydia Yan, Flute An accomplished flutist, pianist, educator, and arranger originally from Hong Kong, Yan has performed throughout Asia, Europe, and the United States, including appearances as a soloist in London, mainland China, and the United States and at Carnegie Hall. Dr. Tsun-yuet Emmanuel Kwok, Cello An internationally active soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician, Kwok has performed throughout Europe, Asia, and the United States. He currently serves as Assistant Principal Cellist of the McKinney Philharmonic Orchestra and New Texas Sinfonia and as an educator and artist-in-residence in North Texas. Dr. Keji Sanchez, Piano An active solo and collaborative pianist, educator, and scholar, Sanchez has performed throughout the United States and internationally. She currently serves as Adjunct Professor of Piano and Music Theory at Texas Wesleyan University and Tarrant County College, in addition to maintaining her private studio. 📍 Texas Wesleyan University Department of Music 🎵 Celebrating music, musicians, and meaningful connections through performance and education.
