Young Mind Old Soul (from the chemo ward) ~ Nat Myers

Based this one off Shake It & Break It by Charley Patton. When I first got sick, I got put on morphine, oxycodone, fentanyl, and the irony wasn't lost on me that I was being prescribed stuff that had taken friends of mine out on the street. I was in excruciating pain, but the moment I had a chance I got off the stuff. I didn't wanna build a habit that could take my life at the same time I was fighting for it. Was practicing this in the chemo ward while my mama made me seaweed & rice haha You can listen a version of this song recorded at Soil of the South Studios in Valdosta, Georgia: Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/album/0LByJe...
