Notre Dame de Paris – Belle | Igor Sirotinsky - guitar cover

Notre Dame de Paris – Belle | Igor Sirotinsky - Guitar Cover This is an excerpt from the famous musical Notre-Dame de Paris, written in 1998 by Richard Cocciante (music) and Luc Plamondon (lyrics), based on the novel Notre-Dame de Paris (The Hunchback of Notre-Dame) by Victor Hugo. It was originally performed by Patrick Fiori, Daniel Lavoie, and Garou. I created this arrangement the day after the devastating Notre-Dame fire, which took place a year ago. In it, I sought to express my lifelong fascination with cathedral bells and carillons, as well as my deep sadness over the tragedy. The video was shot inside the bell chamber of the Belfry of Ghent (Belgium) in collaboration with Historische Huizen Gent. The Belfry of Ghent (Het Belfort) is the largest in Belgium and one of 56 historical buildings designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, recognized as an architectural symbol of emerging civic independence from feudal and religious influences in historic Flanders and neighboring regions of the Duchy of Burgundy.
