Welcome to my latest art session in my sketchbook! In this video all clips are at actual speed (x1), and the artwork took approx 6 hours in total to complete. This was another one with no real plan sorted before I started working on it - I began thinking that a lot of blue lines would look great, but soon discovered it did not so I stuck some paper from my scrap basket and worked in layers over the top of most of it. Thankfully I had a close colour match to the blue pen in a paint colour, so I could at least tie a second page in with the first. I really loved using a brown colour with the blue as it works well with the aged papers in the background. This design was really a mindfulness practice in action - just making marks and hoping it all comes together at the end. And if it doesn't, that's grand it was very fun to create.
