Today on Village Grandpa's Cooking, our four grandpas prepared an amazing traditional Bangladeshi Beef Tehari using a giant whole beef leg. They first cut the beef into small pieces, washed it thoroughly, and cooked a rich, spicy beef curry with traditional village spices. Some of the cooked beef was kept aside while fragrant pulao rice was half-cooked separately with aromatic spices. The delicious beef curry was then mixed with the rice and cooked on dum for about 30 minutes to create authentic village-style Beef Tehari. To make the meal even more special, the grandpas boiled around 120 eggs and served them with the Tehari. After enjoying the feast together, the grandpas packed delicious Beef Tehari with boiled eggs into food packets and traveled by van to distribute them among poor, helpless, elderly, and physically challenged villagers.
