Why Darth Vader was Incredibly WEAK Against Starkiller

Darth Vader should have had the advantage against Starkiller at every turn but he didn’t. In The Force Unleashed and its sequel, Vader’s duels with his own apprentice expose shocking cracks in his power. Despite being the teacher, the seasoned warrior, and the embodiment of the dark side, Vader was overwhelmed by a Force prodigy of his own making. Starkiller was a unique vergence in the Force with nearly unmatched potential, trained directly in Vader’s brutal methods and taught to exploit his master’s every weakness. Years without facing true Jedi left Vader dulled, and some even believe he was holding back testing the Apprentice rather than truly trying to kill him. This breakdown explores why the Dark Lord who once shattered the Jedi Order found himself outmatched by his own creation.
