In this special Islamic Ziyarat journey through Jordan 🇯🇴, we visit the resting places of two great Companions of Rasulullah ﷺ Hazrat Abu Ubaidah ibn al-Jarrah R.a. and Hazrat Dhirar ibn al-Azwar R.a. Our first stop is the maqam of Hazrat Abu Ubaidah ibn al-Jarrah R.a., famously known as Amin-ul-Ummah (The Trustworthy One of the Ummah). We explore the mosque, burial area and surrounding location while discussing his remarkable life, his service to Islam, his leadership in Shaam and the events that led to his passing during the Plague of Amwas. We then visit the maqam associated with Hazrat Dhirar ibn al-Azwar R.a., one of the renowned warriors of the early Muslim era. Known for his extraordinary courage and fearlessness in battle, his stories remain an important part of Islamic history. We explore his burial area, mosque and the surrounding historical site. Throughout this journey, we show you how these important Islamic historical locations are being maintained and preserved in Jordan in 2026.
