Touring Fukushima pt2

Embark on the next leg of our unforgettable motorcycle touring adventure through Fukushima as we transition from high-altitude panoramic vistas down into vibrant autumn mountain passes and tranquil lakeside country roads. This segment begins as we travel to the Sankodai scenic viewpoint parking area, where the group gears up and pulls away from the stunning backdrop of Lake Inawashiro. From there, we carve our way through a series of sun-dappled mountain curves framed by brilliant autumn foliage, stone-walled embankments, and dense forest canopies. Midway through the journey, we pull into "Medaka no Gacco", a local rest stop and eatery. Here, we take a well-deserved break to socialize, inspect our machines—including classic Yamaha SRX models—take group photos, and enjoy the relaxed camaraderie of the open road. Leaving the rest stop behind, the route winds through peaceful rural village streets lined with historic stone monuments before opening up onto a breathtaking waterfront road hugging Lake Inawashiro. As day turns to late afternoon, the ride culminates in a magical golden hour woodland pass capturing the graceful lines of the bikes and riders carving through the final rolling curves.
