Newton North punched their ticket to the state championship game Tuesday evening after holding off a late surge by Springfield Central. The Tigers were led by star g/f Teagan Swint who notched a double-double with his 22 points to go along with 10 rebounds. Newton North will meet Franklin this Sunday in the Division I state championship game this weekend at the Tsongas Arena at Umass Lowell.
