How Your Qurbani Reached Villages in Tanzania | Field Journey 2026

From Dar es Salaam to Shinyanga, and from the Qurbani site to remote villages — this is the journey behind your Qurbani. During Eid al-Adha 2026, the In Your Hand team traveled across Tanzania to personally follow the Qurbani process from preparation to distribution. Our journey began in Dar es Salaam, where we met with our local team and prepared for the days ahead. From there, we traveled to Shinyanga, joined the local community for Eid prayer, carried out final checks at the Qurbani site, and followed the distribution process all the way to the villages. Not every part of the journey could be filmed. Some of the villages were difficult to reach, time was limited, and our priority was always the work itself — not the camera.
