MARKS + The Azul live at MacLean Park Music, Sept 13, 2026

MARKS + The Azul are an East Vancouver singer-songwriter duo who met outside a guitar shop in early 2025 before deciding to start working on music together. Since then, they have had two shows at LanaLou's Restaurant and are super pumped to be playing their first ever MacLean Park Music event. Their lyrics are honest and concise and they blend original indie-folktronik-rock with acoustic guitar and electric violin to create what they hope to be an emotionally connected experience for people. There are a couple of demo tracks up on Bandcamp (https://marks3.bandcamp.com/album/dar...) that Sarah recorded on a TASCAM digital 8 track and a video on their webpage if you'd like to check them out: https://www.hystericalwoman.com/marks Songlist: Amateurs Running Free Mara Lake Blue Dreams for a Rainy City Eat Candy Midnight Oil Right/Write Haste the Wedding, Smash the Windows, Toss the Feathers Zombie Video by Steve Deering - thanks Steve!
