This open industry webinar brought together *Georgia Collard Watson, Luísa Pires and Ellora Coupe* for a practical and exploratory conversation about neurodiversity across architecture, the built environment and retrofit. Georgia introduced the **Architects’ Neurodiversity Toolkit**, sharing why it was developed, the thinking behind it and some of its most useful practical principles. Luísa shared insights from the **Neurodiversity Architecture Network**, including her involvement in developing the toolkit and the wider work being undertaken to create conversation, connection and change across the profession. Ellora brought the discussion specifically into retrofit, exploring what neurodiversity could mean for: • Professional training and learning • Client and homeowner communication • Problem solving and systems thinking • Collaboration within multidisciplinary retrofit teams • Leadership and running small practices • Sole practitioners and independent professionals • Site and office working environments • The structures we create to help people do their best work The conversation recognised that there is no single neurodivergent experience. Rather than attempting to provide one definitive set of answers, the session created space to ask better questions and consider how different ways of thinking, communicating, learning and working can strengthen our industry. The presentations were followed by an open industry discussion and Q&A, bringing together perspectives from retrofit, architecture, construction, building performance, sustainability and the wider built environment. *Hosted by Her Retrofit Space.* Find out more and join our community of professional women working across retrofit: www.herretrofitspace.com
