EMAX Hawk 5 Magnum F4 flight tower FrSky XM+ receiver and Taranis won’t bind

If you’re in the UK or anywhere in EU and are having problems getting your Taranis transmitter to bind to your Hawk 5 on the FrSky XM+ receiver on the Magnum F4 flight tower, the chances are you are running mismatched EU and International version of the firmware.
