Jingles / Fanfares - Po Po Team

Po Po Team is an action arcade style game developed for the NES/Famicom in 1992 by Taiwanese studio Sachen. The game is heavily inspired by the 1983 Atari 8-bit game Oil's Well from Sierra On-Line, which itself was inspired by the 1982 arcade game Anteater by Tago Electronics. Notably, Po Po Team features very pro-environmental theming, which puts it at odds with Oil's Well! Like Oil's Well, Po Po Team has its own comedic cartoon cutscenes sprinkled throughout, referred to ingame as the "Po Po Show" and appearing every ten stages. This game is home to the last soundtrack Yuan-Mei Chou wrote before Sachen's transition to a new sound engine in 1993, and it represents her most refined and advanced work on the old engine.
