Dave needed a workspace. His table needed the entire room. We keep upgrading one ordinary table so Dave can work at it AND walk past it. Making it smaller ruins the workspace. Adding wheels just moves the problem. Every fix gets us closer to a table that knows when to get out of the way. The room stays the same size. The furniture has to figure it out.
