Foggy Early Morning Landing Into Amsterdam (KLM 777-300ER)

Making a beautiful sunrise approach into Amsterdam Schiphol before plunging into a very dense fog right before touchdown. Look closely towards the beginning and you can actually see the main landing gear extending in the engine reflection just behind the KLM logo. Bit odd the arrival announcement was only done in English, usually hear one in Dutch as well. Date...October 23rd, 2024 Airline...KLM Origin...Los Angeles, California Destination...Amsterdam, Netherlands Aircraft...777-300ER Registration...PH-BVK Overall great flight, the updated business class on the 777's is very nice on the hard product side. Little lacking on storage though. Seat comfort was great, the massage feature is a nice touch, as is the wireless charging spot. Entertainment system has plenty of options. Everything you need for a 10 hour flight. Sat in the 2 row mini cabin, while its a little busy during boarding its quite peaceful and private feeling once the curtains are closed. Though keep in mind if choosing this section that the premium economy behind is served from the forward galley so there is a bit more traffic from the crew during meal times. Crew were absolutely amazing, felt very well taken care of, particularly by the one attendant that was covering my side of the mini cabin. Could tell she genuinely cared and made the whole experience so pleasant. Food was good, wine was great, didn't sleep on this flight so was quite nice to have a self serve snack and beverage available in the galley for mid flight. the new amenity kit is a little lacking, much prefer the little zipper pouches but quality of the items is still good in the new version. This was by far the best in flight experience I've had so far. Of course it wouldn't have been complete without receiving one of the little Delft houses, current collection is up too 3.
