It’s Day 14 of Vlogtober and the mail brought MAGIC — my Handmaiden Halloween special yarn arrived, and oh, the colours! 🎃 Inspired by a gorgeously spooky haunted-house scene, Amy absolutely nailed the neon purples, oranges and greens. It’s UV-reactive too (not glow-in-the-dark, I learned ) — so a blacklight reveal is coming in a future vlog once mine arrives! Come along as I open the sweetest package (handwritten note and all ), battle a bit of a tangle caking it up, and cast on a pair of socks. I decided to break up the wild variegated stripes with black cuffs, heels and toes — and the pattern gives the cutest castle-brick look. I’m obsessed.
