Bear to Raptor to Echeyakee! | WoW Forever Beta Impressions Part 12

Blastahcap Duckbane begins Part 12 at level 17 in Thunder Bluff, handling some training, auction-house business, and crafting before heading back into the Northern Barrens. The Seahawks lost while I was playing, so there were sad noises—but according to my extremely reasonable football scoring system, the week still finished at plus one. Back in the Barrens, I hunt plainstriders, Savannah Prowlers, Savannah Huntresses, harpies, lions, and anything else carrying a quest item or a lovely skinnable hide. I work through Nugget Slugs for Wenikee Boltbucket, visit the Ashenvale Border Guard, collect the Warsong Reports, check a hunter’s trap line, and continue clearing out the northern quests before moving south. The pet situation also becomes complicated. I switch from Lil the bear to a cat, release the cat, tame a raptor, release the raptor, and finally summon Echeyakee. I tame the beautiful white lion—which causes me to fail the quest—but abandoning and retaking it should let me finish it later. Along the way, I return to Orgrimmar for leatherworking, help a goblin steal a shredder near an oil rig, take Harley for a walkie, and climb from level 17 to level 19.
