After finishing our season with the Mets, we head north of the border one last time for three games with Montreal. We managed to win yesterday by playing small ball, having to overcome to homeruns by the Mets from players we would least expect them from. Down to the final four series of the season, time to see if we can finish off strong before the NLDS starts. It was released for the SNES in 1994, and while it has the MLB license, it did not have a players association (MLBPA) license. What this means is it features actual team names, logos and stadiums, it did not have real player names. Of course, you can figure out which player one is, based on their jersey number and stats from the 1993 season. Gameplay is fast paced, and very similar to the arcade versions of both Baseball Stars games. While it takes some practice to get used to, its not overly complex to play like the MLB: The Show games of today. If you get a chance to play, I highly recommend it.
