The Hope Dealers: Water Warriors

In this episode of The Hope Dealers, Mandy Wiener visits the Water Warriors in Alexandra. They’ve removed tonnes of rubbish from the Jukskei River, set up litter traps and are addressing illegal dumping in the area. Alex Water Warriors is not just an environmental organisation. It’s run by residents, not outside NGOs or corporates, and was born out of a shared desire to make the township cleaner and safer.
