In this full van tour I’m showing you how we actually make such a small space work for us- our kitchen, bedroom, sitting room, storage, shower, toilet, water, solar power, off-grid electrics, working remotely, movie nights and all the other little things that make this feel like an actual home rather than a cupboard on the back of a truck...😅 ☀️ OUR OFF-GRID ELECTRICS Renogy very kindly set us up with our electrical system for this build, which is what allows us to live and work off-grid while travelling around Australia. Our setup includes 900Ah of lithium battery capacity, a 3000W inverter, 350W of lightweight solar panels and a 50A DC-to-DC charger with MPPT, meaning we can charge from solar or while driving - as well as plugging into mains power when we have it. And now that I’ve finally shown you around properly… I can't wait show you where we’ve actually been taking it. 🌏 so coming up in future videos: We’re attempting to travel around Australia in six months, through tropical rainforest, the Australian Outback, Northern Territory, Western Australia and eventually all the way back around to where we started. (Brisbane) There have already been crocodiles, camels, whales, ridiculous beaches, very questionable roads and some of the most epic places I’ve ever seen. 🥹 And eventually I’ll be heading home to England, back to Winnie 🐶 and back to life in my cottage-core bus too. So there is plenty more tiny-home, cottagey, DIY life to come. 🌸 Thank you so much for watching and for continuing to follow my slightly unconventional little life. 🌸 Josie xx #VanTour #VanLife #TinyHome
