I was absolutely delighted to be invited along to Clady Aggregates in County Armagh for a proper look behind the scenes at this family run business. I got to meet owners Derval and John Mc Cabe, chat to the team and see first hand how the quarry operates, from the quarry face right through to how the stone is processed and where it all ends up. I genuinely learned so much & there’s a hell of a lot more goes into running a quarry than you’d ever realise driving past the gate! It was a real eye opening day and brilliant to see a thriving business like this, with so much drive, hard work and ambition behind it. Fair play to Derval, John and the whole team for what they’ve built and for putting their part of Ireland firmly on the map in the quarrying world.
