Welcome to the ultimate guide to the official document checklist for the Australia Visitor Visa (Subclass 600 - Tourist Stream, applying outside Australia), updated for August 2026. Whether you are planning a holiday, taking a break to explore Australia’s iconic destinations, or visiting friends and family, submitting a complete and well-organized set of supporting documents is essential for a smooth and successful visa outcome. In this video, we break down the official requirements directly from the Australian Department of Home Affairs website so you can submit a decision-ready ImmiAccount application without missing any crucial paperwork. In this step-by-step breakdown, we walk through every major category of required documents, starting with primary identity proof such as valid passports, national identification cards, and personal photographs. We then discuss how to prove you are a genuine temporary entrant, including demonstrating sufficient financial capacity through recent bank statements, pay slips, tax returns, or financial sponsorship. Additionally, we cover how to demonstrate strong ties to your home country—such as employment letters, business registration documents, enrollment proof for students, or property holdings—to satisfy immigration officers that you intend to return home after your visit. We also share practical tips on preparing your files for upload, including document translation requirements for non-English records, certified color scan guidelines, cover letter templates, and proper file naming conventions for ImmiAccount uploads.
