Baby Collared Doves Growing Up – From Hatching to Leaving the Nest

🐦 ENGLISH Follow the story of a Eurasian collared dove family, from the first days in the nest to the moment the young bird finally leaves. Two chicks hatched in the nest and we watched them grow and develop their feathers. During a two-day period when we were away, however, one of the young doves disappeared. When we returned, only one chick remained. We searched around the area but couldn't find the missing chick, so we don't know what happened to it. The remaining young dove continued to grow until it eventually left the nest. V hniezde sa vyliahli dve mláďatá, ktoré sme postupne sledovali pri ich raste a operovaní. Počas dvoch dní, keď sme boli preč, však jedno z mláďat zmizlo. Po návrate zostalo v hniezde už iba jedno. Prehľadali sme aj okolie, no druhé mláďa sme nenašli, takže nevieme, čo sa s ním stalo. Druhé mláďa ďalej rástlo, až napokon prišiel deň, keď opustilo hniezdo. Video zachytáva ich príbeh tak, ako sa odohral — od vyliahnutia až po opustenie hniezda.
