MFA on UniFi is not optional anymore — it is a must. In this video, we talk about why multi-factor authentication needs to be enabled on UniFi controllers, UniFi Network servers, and UniFi OS consoles. If your UniFi controller is exposed to the internet, hosted by an MSP, or accessible remotely, changing the port number is not enough. That is security through obscurity. MFA adds a real layer of protection that can help stop unauthorized access before it becomes a breach. We’ll cover why MFA matters, why simply changing the UniFi web interface port does not solve the problem, and what questions you should be asking if someone else is hosting or managing your UniFi controller.
